Cardinal Foley retires from order

The pope has nominated Baltimore's archbishop Edwin O'Brien the next grand master of the ancient Catholic order that works to protect the rights of Christians in the Holy Land.

The Archbishop will replace retiring U.S. Cardinal John Foley as grand master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.

A replacement for Archbishop O'Brien in Baltimore has yet to be announced.
