A modern-day Mary Magdalene
On July 22nd, the Church celebrates the feast day of Saint Mary Magdalene, the penitent
sinner who became one of Jesus' most celebrated disciples. To mark this feast day
we have a report on the inspirational life story of a former prostitute who became
a Catholic and set up a shelter to help other sex workers leave the trade and start
a new life..... a woman who in some ways could be termed a modern-day Mary Magdalene.
