“John Paul II: A Man Who Made History”


The beautiful Umbrian town of Spoleto is known across the world for its Festival of Two Worlds that takes place in this period every year.

Spoleto is the perfect setting for opera, dance and theatre performances, concerts, recitals and exhibitions. And there is one special exhibition currently showing there, which is open to visitors until the end of August.

The title of the exhibition is “John Paul II: A Man Who Made History”. It is a touching tribute to the Blessed Polish Pope and to his pontificate as seen through the lenses of Reuters photographers who followed him around the world for 27 years.

One of the Reuters journalists who organized and contributed to the exhibit is Vatican expert Phil Pulella, who told Vatican Radio that documents, objects and memorabilia are also on display…
