in Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh.” These are words used by Pope Benedict XVI on
Wednesday morning during his weekly general audience as he continues to meditate on
prayer, the subject of a new topic for his catechesis. “Christ’s prayer of intercession
on the Cross brings salvation to the world"- the Pope said - "Through him, let us
pray with unfailing trust in God’s merciful love for all mankind, conscious that our
