Pope meets another group of Indian Bishops


(May 14,2011) Pope Benedict XVI met another group of five Indian catholic Bishops from northeast India on their five-yearly ad limina visits. Among the bishops in this groups were: Salvatore Lobo, of Baruipur, Stephen Lepcha,of Darjeeling, Clement Tirkey,of Jalpaiguri, Joseph Suren Gomes, of Krishnagar and Alphonsus Flavian D’Souza, of Raiganj. This year the Indian bishops are marking their ad limina visit to Rome which began ion March with the Syro-Malankara rite Bishops. These visits will end in September
