John Paul II at Auschwitz back in 1979

John Paul II was the first Roman Pontiff ever to visit a concentration camp. It was in June 1979 during that first visit to his homeland. We bring you his words in Polish on that moving occasion. As well as words in English focusing on justice and peace, pronounced in Ireland in October of that same year.
