Soldiers clash along Thai-Cambodian border

Soldiers from Thailand and Cambodian exchanged fire Saturday morning in the second day of fighting along their disputed border. On Friday, four Thai soldiers and three Cambodian soldiers were killed in the clashes. The two sides dispute the territory around an ancient temple which has recently been granted UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Thailand and Cambodia are both members of the ASEAN regional grouping, which has been trying to mediate the dispute.
