Episcopal diocese of Jerusalem

Among the Christian communities in the Holy Land marking the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is the Episcopal or Anglican diocese of Jerusalem, which includes parishes in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan, as well as Israel and Palestine. Based at the Cathedral Church of St George close to the old city of Jerusalem, the diocese supports many institutions including schools, hospitals, clinics, vocational training programmes and centres for the disabled and elderly.
