In Australia, the state of Victoria is facing rising floodwaters, as the country's
continuing flood crisis threatened to deliver another region its worst flooding in
a century.
Residents of the southern state are waiting to see if they suffer
as much as those hit by floods in the last weeks in the north-eastern state of Queensland.
So
far, more than 3,500 people have evacuated their homes in Victoria.
The flooding
in Queensland left a vast territory underwater and caused at least 30 deaths, with
12 people are still missing.
