Pope in Spain: preview


A few days ahead of Benedict XVI's arrival on Saturday in Santiago de Campostela , Veronica Scarisbrick sat down with Lydia O'Kane, who's already Spain awaiting the pope's arrival :
"It's a visit that lasts just 32 hours ...he's due to arrive at ...Santiago de Campostela ...he's going for the Holy Year ..it's connected to the Apostle James and he's Patron Saint of Spain ..it's been a pilgrimage site since the 9th century.. "
"...Barcelona ...he's going to consecrate a temple..'Sagrada Familia' ..it's full of symbolism, Gaudi was very much a man of faith ..he's now buried in the crypt which is consecrated..."
