No change to Papal schedule following arrests

Five men were arrested this morning in London by British police as part of an anti-terrorism operation. Answering journalists questions, Vatican spokesman Fr. Federico Lombardi confirmed that there will be no changes to the Pope’s schedule, neither will there be any changes to the security arrangements already in place. “We have full confidence in the police – he said – there is no reason for concern and therefore, no need to change our plans”. The Pope was informed of the arrests.
