New Missal in USA Enters Use on November 27, 2011

(20 Aug 10 - RV) Cardinal Francis George of Chicago on Friday announced that the full text of the English-language translation of the Roman Missal, Third Edition, has been issued for the Church of the United States of America.

It will enter into use as of the First Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011. The date was chosen to allow publishers time to prepare texts and gives parishes a chance to educate parishioners.
