(14 Aug 10 - RV) Each year, the town of Pesaro pays homage to one of its most famous
inhabitants and generous benefactors, Gioachino Rossini.
Now in its 31st
year, the Rossini Opera Festival is currently under way, with the programme including
the world premiere of two of his lesser-known operas, “Sigismondo” and “Demetrio e
Polibio”.
