Opera Festival Shows New Works By Rossini

(14 Aug 10 - RV) Each year, the town of Pesaro pays homage to one of its most famous inhabitants and generous benefactors, Gioachino Rossini.

Now in its 31^st year, the Rossini Opera Festival is currently under way, with the programme including the world premiere of two of his lesser-known operas, “Sigismondo” and “Demetrio e Polibio”.
