Cardinal Archbishop of Dar-es-Salaam on SECAM Meeting

(RV - 30 July 2010) The plenary assembly of the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar – or SECAM --  is continuing in Accra, Ghana.

Cardinal Polycarp Pengo is the archbishop of Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania and the president of SECAM.

He spoke with us about why he chose to hold this year’s assembly in Ghana.
