Christian University Professor Attacked in Indian State of Kerala

(05 July 10 - RV) The Christian community in the Indian state of Kerala have been reacting to news of an attack on a Christian university professor in which his hand and right arm were severed.
Three months prior to the attack, Prof. TJ Joseph had prepared an exam in a private college where he taught that some say had included questions offensive to Muhammad.
Following a series of protests by Islamic groups, he was suspended from school.
