Enthusiasm for the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization

(3 July 10 - RV) The Vatican saw several changes this week, including the announcement of a new Pontifical Council dedicated to renewed evangelization in countries where Churches of ancient foundation are living through a progressive secularization of society, and a kind of eclipse of the sense of God.
Carolyn Klika is the founder and president of the Catholic Word consortium, which handles sales and marketing for the Ignatius Press that publishes many of Pope Benedict XVI’s titles in English. She was in Rome this week, and spoke with us about her enthusiasm for the new Council…
