Italy Appeals EU Court Ban on Crucifixes in Classrooms


(30 June 10 - RV) Italy today began its appeal against a European court ruling that crucifixes in classrooms violate a students' right to freedom of religion. The original case was brought by a woman who objected to the crucifixes on the walls in her two sons' classrooms.
