Conference on Child Soldiers Continues in Chad

(09 Jun 10 - RV) Representatives from central African countries are concluding a three-day conference held by the Chadian government and the UN Children’s Fund on ending the recruitment of child soldiers.
Later in the day, countries will sign a Declaration to bind governments to stop recruitment of children in armed forces and ensure commitment to create better opportunities for former child soldiers in their education and employment.
