International Conference Contemplates the Future of Somalia

(RV - 22 May 10) U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon has told international conference on Somalia that if the international community does not redouble its efforts will be little chance for peace there.

The conference that opened in Istanbul today is addressing security issues including piracy.

We spoke to the Apostolic Administrator of Mogadishu, Bishop Giorgio Bertin. He says it is important that the conference looks at the whole of Somalia.
