(17 May 10 - RV) Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that his six-party,
centre-right coalition is divided as Israel heads into indirect peace talks with the
Palestinians. U.S. envoy George Mitchell, who is mediating in the "proximity talks",
is to resume meetings on Tuesday in the first substantive sessions since the Palestinians
agreed to the indirect negotiations. Gershon Baskin is the director of the Israel-Palestine
