Worldwide Investment in Cluster Munitions Highlighted
(15 Apr 10 - RV) Almost a year and a half after the historic signing of the Convention
on Cluster Munitions in Oslo, 146 financial institutions from 15 countries around
the world still provide over $43 billion worth of investments and financial services
to seven producers of cluster bombs. The findings were published the a report entitled
“Worldwide investments in cluster munitions: A shared responsibility" released earlier
this week in Geneva. One of the authors of the report is Esther Vandenbroucke,
who works at the NGO Netwerk Vlaanderen. She spoke us about what can be done to stop
