Pope Benedict Sends Letter to President of Haiti

(23 Jan 10 - RV) Pope Benedict XVI has personally written a letter to the President of Haiti, René Préval, and to the President of the local Bishops Conference, the Archbishop of Cap-Haitien, Louis Kérebreau to express once again his "profound condolences" to victims of the January 12th earthquake, his comfort for survivors and appreciation of the work of rescuers.
