Ethnic Unrest Spreads to Surrounding Villages of Jos, Nigeria

(23 Jan 10 - RV) Unrest between rival ethnic groups in the city of Jos, Nigeria is reported to have spread to villages around the capital of Plateau state.


Vice President Goodluck Jonathan has deployed the military to contain the violence.
