(20 Jan 10 - RV) Authorities in Nigeria have imposed a 24-hour curfew on residents
of Jos, the northern city where deadly religious violence began on Sunda and continued
despite a 6PM-6AM curfew and increased police presence on the city’s streets. More
than 150 Nigerians have been killed in clashes between Muslim and Christian gangs,
while the country’s Vice President has ordered troops to restore order and religious
