Ambassador Wang from the Republic of China Reflects on Pope's Message to the Diplomatic Corps

(12 January ’10 -RV) Druing his speech to the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Holy See, Pope Benedict spoke about the place where diplomacy has worked in the past year. He also made mention of the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Argentina and Chile, which the Holy See helped mediate. He said the Pope’s words reminded him of the great improvement that has been made in the last year across the Taiwan Straits.
