(22 Dec 09 - RV) Eurostar trains between Britain and France resumed today after three-days
of cancellations because of heavy snow.
But severe weather conditions continued
to cause travel chaos in throughout Europe.
Central and Northern Europe
have been brought to a virtual standstill after record snow falls and authorities
are warning people to limit all unnecessary travel.
In Britain many airports
returned to normal after snow and ice forced closures today, but knock-on delays and
cancellations are expected.
