FAO to Host Food Summit

(14 Nov 09 - RV) On Monday, Pope Benedict will travel across Rome to the headquarters of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. The FAO will be hosting a three-day food summit, which focuses on ways to ensure that all people have enough to eat, especially during the current global economic crisis.
The meeting comes less than a month before world leaders meet in Copenhagen to discuss climate change. Many people say the two issues are closely related.
