EU Countries Adapt to Quickly Changing Tactics in Drug Trade

(5 November 09-RV) Europe is faced with an increasingly complex and volatile synthetic drug market. This according to a new report issued today by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction, the EU Drugs agency. The Director of the Monitoring Centre, Wolfgang Götz, says the different approaches by different countries in the EU have created a laboratory for creative ideas to battle the drugs problem.
