Violence in Pakistan Holding Schools Hostage to Terror
(02 Nov 09 - RV) A suicide bomber killed 30 people outside a bank near Pakistan's
capital today, while the U.N. said spreading violence in the country has forced it
to suspend long-term development work.

that the bombings are generating anxiety, and that schools are increasingly being
targeted by militants
