Ireland Marks 80 Years of Relations With Holy See

(23 Oct 09 - RV) This weekend Ireland is marking 80 years of relations with the Holy See. To celebrate this milestone Vatican Secretary for Relations with States Archbishop Dominique Mamberti celebrated mass this morning in the Irish Embassy to the Holy See. Minister for European Affairs Dick Roche spoke to Emer McCarthy about Church State cooperation in Ireland and remembering the role of Christianity in the creation of Europe.
