(18 Oct 09 - RV) Pope Benedict today remembered Columban Missionary Fr Michael Sinnott as Catholics in Ireland and the Philippines joined in prayer for his safe return.
The 79 year old priest has been in the hands of unknown gunmen since last Saturday when he was abducted from his community in Pagadian City in Mindanao in the Southern Philippines.
