(9 Oct 09 - RV) A week of relentless rains in the northern Philippines have put dozens
of towns and villages under water, with more than 100 people drowned or killed by
landslides. Four major mudslides struck late last night, burying almost an entire
village in Benguet province. We spoke to Sr. Rosanne Mallillin, executive secretary
of Caritas Philippines to find out about rescue efforts in the area.
