(26 Sept 09 - RV) Archaeologists are celebrating the discovery of Britain’s largest haul of Anglo-Saxon treasure. It was found in a field in Staffordshire by a man using a metal detector. Experts believe the treasure which is being called the “Staffordshire Hoard” may date back to approximately the 7th century.
