U.S. Postpones Deployment of European Missile Shield

(21 Sep 09 - RV) U.S. President Barack Obama has dismissed criticism that Russian opposition influenced his decision to scrap a European missile defense system. Dr Robert Brannon is a professor of defense studies at the George C. Marshall Institute for Security Studies in Munich, Germany. He said the US decision has nothing to do with the Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
