Nigeria Turns to Catholicism Despite Church Attacks


(5 Sept 09 - RV) According to the latest reports from Kontagora, in Niger state, Nigeria, the apostolic vicar of the region says that the people are turning to the message of hope that the Christian faith offers. Bishop Timothy Carroll said that despite some recent attacks on new churches being built – an unprecedented  number of people are responding to the message of salvation.
