G8 Leaders Surpass Expectations on Aid to Poor Nations
(10 July 09-RV) In an intiative launched today by President Obama, G8 leaders pledged
20 billion dollars in farm aid to help poor nations feed themselves on the third and
final day of the summit in L’Aquilla. The pledge surpassed expectations given the
