World Refugee Day

(20 June 09 - RV) Today is United Nations World Refugee Day.

The theme for this year is "Real People, Real Needs."

The UN says that despite the efforts of many, the needs of refugees worldwide are far from being met.

We spoke to James Stapleton of the Jesuit Refugee Service who told us that even though there is a long way to go, there are some countries that are taking action on this issue.
