United States Bishops Approve Text for New Votive Mass

(20 June 09-RV) The United States conference of Catholic Bishops concluded their annual spring meeting in San Antonio, Texas yesterday. The bishops overwhelmingly approved the text for a new votive mass in Thanksgiving for the gift of human life. The liturgy in English and Spanish will be sent to Rome for approval by the Congregation for Divine Worship.
