Pope Benedict Lends his Voice to Call for Hope and Dignity for Every Child

(04 June 09 - RV) In a telegram sent to the United Nation's in Geneva today, Pope Benedict XVI added his voice to the call for hope and dignity for every child, as the UN marked the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The a document has been ratified by all but two countries of the world, Somalia and the United States.
