Egypt; Home to the Near East's Largest Christian Community..But for How Long?
(01 June 09 - RV) Concern is being expressed at the plight oriental Coptic Catholic
community in Egypt. The organisation, Aid to the Church in Need says in the diocese
of Guizeh which boasts the Pyramids and Sphinx, Coptic Catholics are living in poverty
and are frequently out of work because of anti-Christian employers. It adds that
there are restrictions on building churches and outdoor worship. We spoke to the
