Humanitarian Disaster Unfolds in Pakistan's Swat Valley

(07 May 09 -RV) The International Committee of the Red Cross today warned the humanitarian crisis in north-western Pakistan is worsening as fighting between Taliban insurgenst and government troops intensifies.

The Red Cross and Red Crescent are working to help tens of thousands of people who have already fled the war zone.
