Death From Swine Flu Less Than Feared

(2 May 09 - RV) An official for the UN World Health Organization today said there is no evidence of sustained community spread of H1N1 flu outside North America. The statement comes as new laboratory data showed fewer people have died in Mexico than first thought from a new influenza strain, a glint of good news for a world rattled by the threat of a flu pandemic.
