National Centre in Cameroon Prepares For Pope Visit
(16 Mar 09 - RV) Pope Benedict will be leaving for Cameroon tomorrow, the first part
of a two-nation trip to Africa. He will also be visiting Angola. While in Cameroon,
the Pope will visit Cardinal Emile Leger Centre, which is the National Centre for
the Rehabilitation of the Disabled. Festus Tarawalie of Vatican Radio’s Africa section
is in Cameroon. He spoke to Mrs. Grace Fomulu, who directs the centre, about the
preparations for the Pope’s visit.
