The ICC Issues Arrest Warrant for Sudanese President

(4 March 09-RV)The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant today for Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on 2 charges of war crimes and 5 charges of crimes against humanity  in Darfur. He is the first sitting head of state the court has ordered arrested. Nick Donovan is the Head of Policy at UK based Aegis Trust, which campaigns against genocide.
