Pope Sends Condolences on Death of Cardinal Kim

(16 Feb 09 - RV) Pope Benedict has sent his heartfelt condolences to the people of Korea upon the death of Cardinal Stephen Kim, who died today at the age of 86. 
The Pope, in a telegram, recalled with gratitude the former Archbishop of Seoul’s long years of devoted service to the Catholic community of the Korean capital, as well as his many years of faithful assistance to the Holy Father as a member of the College of Cardinals.
