Looking Ahead to the Sixth World Meeting of Families

(9 Jan 2009-RV) A press conference was held today at the Holy See Press Office to introduce the 6^th World Meeting of the Families, which begins next week in Mexico City.The theme of the 6-day event is The Family:  Educator in Human and Christian Values, and six thousand people are expected to descend upon the Mexican capital for the event.Pope Benedict will be represented by the Cardinal Secretary of State, Tarcisio Betone.An official of the Pontifical Council for the Family, Marc Lalonde, spoke to Beth Hay about the goals of the meeting.
