Honduras Struggles to Feed and Shelter Tens of Thousands

Oscar Rodrìguez was recently in Rome for the organization’s bureau and executive committee
meeting. Heavy rain last month swept through Central America severely affecting
Honduras, which is still struggling to shelter and feed tens of thousands of people.
Weather-related problems are not new to the country, which is still recovering from
the devastating effects of Hurricane Mitch ten years ago. We spoke with Cardinal Rodrìguez
about the ongoing issues created by severe weather in his country.
