Pakistan Earthquake Death Toll Climbs

(31 Oct 08 - RV) The death toll from a deadly earthquake that struck southwestern Pakistan Wednesday climbed to over 300 today, while some15,000 made homeless by the disaster sought shelter from freezing temperatures. Troops and relief agencies have scrambled to help communities in remote valleys. Eric Dayal is  the Coordinator for Caritas Pakistan.
