Renaissance Art Exhibit Opens at the Basilica of St. Mary Major

(29 Oct 08-RV) Few people have heard of Nicola di Guardiagrele, a goldsmith from the era between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. An exhibition sponsored by both the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Vatican Museums is hoping to make his work better known.
