CSW Condemns Priest's Murder

(22 Aug 08 - RV) Christian Solidarity Worldwide is strongly condemning the murder of a Catholic priest in India’s Andhra Pradesh state, and calling for a proper investigation into the attack.

The body of Father Thomas Pandippallyil was found on Sunday bearing the marks of eighteen stab wounds and submersion under water.

CSW spokesperson David Griffith says his organization is concerned that local police will not do enough to investigate the crime.
